Top 5 of the Week: MOM!

In the Store:  For the gardener, we have colorful steel flowers, wind chimes & bird houses.  If you desire something more personal, try a spring scarf or a piece from our jewelry collection just voted 'Most Unique & Artistic' by Main Line Times readers.

In the Studio:  Treat Mom to some studio time & give her the opportunity to unwind and get creative.  Gift certificates are available in the store.

In the Neighborhood:  Take Mom for a ride to The Schuykill Center on Saturday for their mother-daughter jewelry workshop.  Together you'll learn to recycle old magazines into beautiful beads & make necklaces.
In the Arts Community:  If Mom is an arts appreciator, then this is her weekend.  The PA Guild of Craftsmen surround lovely tree-lined Rittenhouse Square with the first ever professional craft fair in the park. For a younger vibe, check out over 100 indie artists at the Art Star Craft Bazaar at Penn's Landing. And for the tattooed Mama, wander over to the river and board the warship Olympia, host of the Tattoo Arts Convention and treat Mom to some fresh ink.

In Your Home: With farmers markets opening everywhere, there's no reason not to make Mom a memorable brunch starting with these yummy looking pancakes and eggs en cocotte in yesterday's food section.

Top 5 of the Week: FUN WITH WHEELS

In the Store:  Bike art is cruising in as we get ready for NarbART Bicycle Month beginning next Friday.  Beth Warren's Wheel makes a fun garden sculpture.
In the Studio:  Wheels abound in the studio.  We want to be at the party where Kendal debuts her amazing wheel-framed gown.

In the Neighborhood:  Become an expert on two wheels.  Mainline School Night presents "Bike Repair and Saturday Rides" May 2-9, a beginner workshop covering everything from fixing a flat to riding safely with a group.

In the Arts Community:  Take an easy ride on the giant ferris wheel for great views of the city at the grand PIFA street fair this Saturday on The Avenue of the Arts.

In Your Home:  Looking for a place to ride your two wheels?  Check out ConnectTheCircuit.org, greater Philadelphia's regional trail network with over 250 miles of connected trails.  When complete, the circuit will be 750 miles of trails connecting riders to communities, jobs & parks.
A few spots left . . . registration ends Wed, 4/24, at 6.

Top 5 of the Week: EARTH DAY

In the Store:  Take care of the birds and the environment with birdhouses made from recycled water bottles in Gordonville, PA.

In the Studio:  Join resident artist David Stehman for Penn Wynne's 1st annual Earth Day celebration at Wynnewood Valley Park on Sunday, April 21, from 1-4pm.

In the Neighborhood:  Excitement is building as plans come together for the 24th annual NarbEarth Day, Saturday 12-4, a fun environmental fair for adults & children at the Narberth Park.  Look for Sweet Mabel doing recycled crafts with kids.

In the Arts Community:  Help us replace the Leprechaun cutout with a new one for photo opportunities during NarbART Bicycle Month.

In Your Home:  Spread some beauty in your garden.  Greenaid seedbombs are hand-rolled in California using local materials, sustainable packaging, & socially responsible labor.  Every seed bomb you purchase is an investment in our shared future on a greener, more equitable planet.
